Time and Opportunity collided and conceived Divine Restoration Ministries back in 1998. As Pastor J. Richard Evans, Sr. sat on the side of his bed grappling and accepting the reality of the birth one ministry, the Lord was impregnating his spirit with multiple seeds of faith and destiny. As DRM-Detroit was maturing and flourishing, those other seeds were growing and developing as well.
About 2 years ago the labor pains started coming hard and fast and to the natural eye both parent and child were struggling. It has been medically documented that what a woman’s body goes through during the process of childbirth is the closest to experiencing death without actually dying. At the crowning moment, all seemed to be lost but the Holy Ghost served as midwife, coaching and guiding the labor as they dug in to find a hidden reservoir of strength that only comes from recognizing divine purpose and destiny.
Through the difficult labor and trials, this new ministry – DRM – Mt. Clemens has been birthed. And as any new baby must be cleansed from all that it took to get here and swaddled, we have bathed her in prayer. We have bathed her with proclamations and declarations for her future. And we committed afresh to her success. As we prepare to present her to the world on June 3rd, we recognize our spiritual parents and commit to doing all that we can to help promote this new sibling.
